This term we have been looking at ways to stay healthy. We chose to find out why we needed WATER, FRUIT and VEGETABLES and EXERCISE. We made posters to remind others in our school what to do. What do you think of them? We chose a fruit or a vegetable. We then got some magazines and found bits of the colour we needed to fill in our fruit or vegetable monsters. Then we cut the shape out. We made a face for them by putting on eyes, a nose and a mouth. Finally, we folded strips of paper to make crinkly arms and legs. We glued them on the back of our healthy monsters. The Rainbow Fish was a great friend. He shared his shiny scales with all fish so they could be happy too. Our Rainbow fish help remind us to be good classmates and share. This afternoon we went to Cbay pool and had our school swimming sports. We all did 3 races. It was a lot of fun. The buses took us there and back and lots of Mums and Dad's came to watch us being resilient Highfield Learners. |
